Can't speak for jobs as I'm still in uni, but when it comes to dating, it's easier than ever now that lots of interactions are done online. I don't use dating apps, but I chat a lot on whatsapp and fb messenger, and have been able to get my personality across via text. In person, like others on this thread have mentioned, its about self acceptance. I have a severe stutter (like it would be impossible to miss, with all the facial contortions), but I try to just act like it's normal even though I'm dying inside. I think, as with a lot of disabilities, if you don't present it as a big deal, others won't see it as a big deal too. Also, I think as you get older, people around you are more mature and understanding towards your differences. I used to get bullied and laughed at in school, but the people I meet now just ignore the stutter and listen to what I'm trying to say
