I take Xanax when I fly and at the dentist, my husband often comments how my stutter improves when I’m on Xanax. He says I speak slower which is to be expected, but stutter less. I’m too terrified to take Xanax more regularly. Dementia and Alzheimer’s runs in my family, and Xanax use has been attributed to cause or accelerate the onset of both diseases. No thank you.
