Yeah. Similar to my experience in Australia. Hadn’t seen my speech pathologist for at least 6 years. I met with her the summer before starting year 12 after having a really bad panic attack in front of the school. After meeting I realised all the messed up things my school had done. I got penalised for fluency and “manner” in every speaking/oral assessment throughout the entirety of high school. She explained that they literally were violating the 1992 Act (Australian equivalent). Anyways it was too late to change anything but anyone with a stutter should know about this
