It’s funny the way the mind works. If you can change your mindset and convince yourself stuttering is not a big deal, then your anxiety and angst around speaking will lessen and so will your stuttering frequency and duration. I used to be a really bad stutterer like you. Couldn’t even say my name. But now I only stutter in high stress situations like when I had to take my mother to the emergency room due to a sudden stroke. I know it is easier said than done, but changing your mindset works.
