Basically, we have a lock on our tongue. Same with me, so why doesn't my tongue move when speaking? It's because I perceive triggers (in my mindset) as a stutter convincing me to lock the tongue. **"do you have any tips for "lowering" your stutter?"** **Acceptance**: don't let stuttering bother you **No attachment**: don't react to any triggers that lead to anticipating or justifying compulsion. Make triggers less real in your mind. For example: a feared letter is just a thought, a stutter feeling is just a feeling, without judgement or meaning **Letting go:** let go of control and put faith in your body to speak automatically to gain back trust
