I too am shocked, shocked!, that people are sad about their stutter and desperate for a way to make it go away! For real though, I understand your frustration, but what can you do but get the mods to ban "cure" posts? As for the depressing posts, it's probably good for people to vent every once in a while, I just wish folks were more receptive to advice. There are practical, time-tested, rather easy ways to *treat* stuttering. Rarely do people seem to want to hear it. Just like, to give another example, people don't want to listen to actual weight loss advice. They just want cures.
