I cannot artificially trigger my stutter. I know this because growing up the script went like this: Random Kid: Why do you talk like that? Me: I have a stutter. Random Kid: What's a stutter? Me: Sometimes I repeat words or sounds or pause when talking. Random Kid: Show me. Me: I can't make myself do it. Random Kid: Why not? Me: It's involuntary. Random Kid: That's lame.
