If there’s anything living with a stutter has taught me, it’s surrender. We have to be patient and accepting of ourselves. Yes I stutter, but I refuse to let myself be defined by it. We all have our quirks and that’s a part of what makes us so fun and interesting. Now I know there’s nothing particularly fun about having a stutter, but we learn to navigate in different ways, we develop a deep sense of adaptability. We are warriors for waking up everyday and continuing to take on daily challenges. Please, be easy on yourself. You are so worthy. I also have the name problem and what helps me is just pausing and honestly laughing at myself a little, a reminder of my humanity and our imperfections.
