Dude, do not settle down. Sales job could well be a gift in your situation... I have been in sales for years, even when i had a big stutter and low confidence, and it helped me face my insecurities, and improve my communication by far. You are not a stutterer, but a human being born out of perfection who at one point in your life, unconsciously decided to embody the persona of someone that does. But this is not a condition you shall accept to live on for the rest of your life. It is curable and improvable by far. Keep pushing, accept the way it is now, accept to make mistakes, it is well okay, and try to put yourself into a relax state of mind, knowing that whatever you do, in the big scheme of life, it doesn't matter. Whether you succeed at having a conversation without stuttering or feel like a complete failure on this one time moment, it doesn't matter at all. And the guy you're talking over the phone or face to face with, is very well just like you, going to the restrooms, eating like you do, and is simply a human being, not a god nor anything else for that matter. But do not settle for less, and accept to be afraid. The only difference between does who do and make a name for themselves, and does who don't, is just they do not let their fears interfere with their dreams, they go for it despite them being terrified and making a thousand mistakes a day, feeling humiliated again and again. But one day, you'll be so happy having stood up for yourself. Give me a tchat! Cheers, wish you the very best. Anthony
