> for people that have stutter from child to adulthood do you think it destroyed your confidence? helped your confidence? it did both. for most of my teenage years it destroyed it. a turning point came when i was in basic training and i realized i didn't have to talk like everyone else and the sergeants couldn't do a thing about it. i had this freedom to talk abnormally and just by existing i posed a challenge to the institution. later at grad school by embracing my stutter i was able to seduce the most attractive woman i have ever seen. stutter outwardly, smile through it, maintain eye contact, and when you learn to accept it and embrace it you become much more attractive. i'm serious -- i've heard of a number of stutterers seducing very attractive women in their late 20s, early 30s when they gain that comfort and confidence.
