I feel like I myself wrote everything being said here lol. I am a 48 year old hairstylist in a very affluent salon in a very affluent suburb. I'm above average in looks for my age. I have a pretty consistent clientele that does not care if it takes me longer to explain whatever it is I'm doing. I have lost potential clients because I stutter. Rejection hurts no matter what form it comes in. I've been in bars before trying to order a drink and the server would make fun of me thinking I was just drunk. Very frustrating.
