I build maps for the Forest Service. My first job was answering the phones and doing customer service at a skydiving facility close to my house. It was a struggle starting out with my stutter but even back then I didn’t care too much if I stuttered, I just kept going and didn’t acknowledge it. I did that job for 6 years part-time while going to school and by the end everything I said was muscle memory. I think the only time someone brought it up was a lady talking to me about astrology. I mentioned I was a Pisces and she basically said: Oh that makes sense! A lot of Pisces have speech impediments”… Lady I don’t think my birthday is the reason I stutter 😂
