Definitely agree with you, I have my own Youtube channel (relevant video linked below for reducing stuttering), not big by any means. I created it for 2 reasons: 1. So that I can help spread some knowledge to others, help stutterers in anyway I can and to hopefully bring a sense of community to others who stutter. 2. So that while I make my videos, rather than using avoidance techniques like I usually would, to actually speak whatever I want to say to help desensitize myself to my own stutter. I've gone into detail on my channel but essentially what has helped me is to simply desensitize myself in speaking situations that make me nervous. Some of these things happened during my life as a result of schooling/work but the remaining areas I try to improve myself. As someone else mentioned in this thread, a way to desensitize myself is to call various businesses and record myself to then later assess. It helps me understand where I stutter, which words etc I've attached a video below of exactly what I mean, definitely something for everyone to try out for themselves.
