I also get what you’re saying but I’m not speaking for everyone, just myself and how I feel. But part of my trauma of stuttering are people constantly yelling at me for stuttering, forcing me to talk normally as if I can turn it off and on. It was just nice that she wasn’t like that, she wasn’t impatient and gave me the time to talk and she didn’t hate my stutter or get mad whenever I stuttered. It was a nice change of pace, just made me feel like a normal human being.
