I am always open and upfront about my stutter in interviews. It frankly is a disability and there’s no shame in that. It’s a struggle that we have to deal with and that’s okay. Many many people would not have the strength to face this struggle everyday. But we are still here and fighting. Don’t let any speech issue stand in the way of your goals. Just recognize that we should be open and honest about our struggles with others, especially if those people will be working with us. It creates a better working environment. Besides, do any of us really want to be in an environment where we are FORCED to talk fluently every moment of the day? Fuck that. That would be hell on earth in my opinion. I’d be so nervous haha. If an employer doesn’t hire you due to your speech problem, fuck them. You deserve better than that piece of shit company anyways. But OP good work! I’m so proud of you!
