If I keep seeing many men making comments going out of their way to make women who stutter feel like their struggles aren't as real, yes I am going to bring it up. And dating is not the only struggle stutterers deal with. For some reason men seem to only bring up dating when discussing stuttering struggles. Maybe men do tend to like women who feel shy and timid, but being that way definitely makes it harder to make female friends. Women who have a lot of female friends are often very assertive and outgoing, and being shy plus having a stutter makes the social aspect of being a woman difficult.
