>What does everyone else think about this? Would you rather it stated clearly and for a discussion to take place about stuttering or would you like to see it just accepted and for no comment to be passed whatsoever. I typically like the idea of discussing and self-disclosure. It allows you to frame the condition the way you want it and it gets it all out in the open. The average fluent speaker knows very little about stuttering and I like to be open about it as a way to make them more comfortable by letting them know that I'm comfortable with it. I would much rather have it out in the open.
