In some circumstances it is better, but others, the same. Of course when first meeting someone new, or working with a new group of guys I'll stutter, but after a short amount of time it becomes easier. I work overseas in Asia with their local military, so language barrier + a stutter makes it quite interesting, but easy to work around. (shout-out to Google translate) Any new job is always a bit unsettling, but it all works itself out eventually. I've found myself more and more willing to teach courses, and that's definitely a positive thing. If you know your stuff, people tend to listen.
