That is a golden response, Vulnerability, everybody struggles with their Egos getting in the way rather that being physically or emotionally. Imagine all the potential matches that people with speech disfluencies or any other handicaps missed because their pride or ego prevented the interaction from even happening. Im slowly started believing that everything doesnt happen for a reason and we usually get in the way of important chapters in our lives. This is coming from a guy whose been guarding his heart for years because of the lack of vulernability i wanted to show and feeling to prideful to accept the healthy responses of empathy and compassion. Not every person responds with ridicule and bad intentions when being faced with someone thats different.
