Well you’ve came to the right place, everyone has experienced everything you have typed here.. including myself. I’m 29 years old now and have been through presentations in university as well.. & I felt the same shame and helplessness within myself. It wasn’t until I found the McGuire program that helped me see my stutter different, connect with other people who stutter in real life was huge for me, and discovering who I was through this self acceptance journey. It doesn’t get any harder than this, it can only get better with the decisions you want to make about your stutter moving forward. Don’t let your stutter control you, your thoughts, your outlook on life, your habits, or actions. If the McGuire program isn’t for you, find something else that is. All that matters is that you don’t let it keep defeating you, you’re stronger than that. Good luck!
