I can't say this'll work for you or anyone else but what helps me is just forcing myself into the tough situations enough that I desensitise myself to it. Even the non consequencial things like drive through fast food. I make myself do it enough that it doesn't bother me too much. Which means I stutter alot less then if I only did it when there was no other option. I do that and just general anxiety reduction. If I notice my stutter is worse then usual. I just start taking ten minutes a day to sort of meditate. Just sit somewhere quiet with my eyes shut and just focus on breathing slowly and trying to relax. It doesn't improve it overnight but it definitely has a accumulative affect.
