I've been with my fiancé for almost 4 years now and my stutter has never bothered him. At first he would finish my sentences for me but after a rant about strangers doing just that to me, he stopped. Sometimes it's -really- hard to get a sentence out as you probably know, but he's always very patient with me. I feel like I lucked out, I'm always hearing horror stories about dates gone wrong because of stuttering. We talked on the internet for a while before meeting in person which I think helped me feel less awkward when we did end up meeting IRL. It doesn't work out for everyone, but I found that being friends on the internet first helped me a lot.
