Well of course but stuttering, especially a moderate-severe one, is still debilitating whenever you want you admit it or not. Just because one disability isn’t as bad as another, it doesn’t mean it’s not hard to live with. Plus, after a certain age, for some, especially with anxiety-induced stutters, it can be improved. But if you have a life-long or neurogenic stutter, those are a lot harder to treat. Speech therapy isn’t a cure, and it doesn’t help that a lot of them don’t really understand stuttering. Sorry if I sound rude or trying to sound “lazy”. I myself have a severe stutter, and I’ve been desperately trying to get rid of it for years now. Been in speech since I was 2, still in it as a sophomore in high school. Comparing disabilities shouldn’t be a thing in the first place though, I will agree. But when you consider the blockages, I think it can cause a little understanding.
