About job interviews— they should be accommodating to people with disabilities. Just let the interviewer know beforehand that you have a speech impediment, and that it has nothing to do with your intelligence, self-confidence, and skills. Let them know that the interview may take a bit longer because it takes you more time to speak. I’m a severe stutterer myself, and I aced an interview a few weeks ago. Disclosing early before the interview is key, just so there are no surprises for your interviewer. Now I’m working my dream job.
