Yep. Was 28 years old going through training for an insurance company. Lovely couple thought I was from another country because I was so nervous I could barely speak. The proceeded to talk poorly of the company (which I blamed myself for) and laid into me. I had to get my supervisor on the call (who sighed when I asked for her help) and she had to explain to them what was going on. I immediately went to the bathroom and cried. When I came back she was wrapping up the call and the couple was then apologetic for how they treated me. Didn’t stop me though. Just gotta keep pushing forward regardless of the stutter.
