Yes I stutter. I had a severe stutter between the ages of 3-10 yrs old. Started speech therapy when I was 4 yrs old and quit going when I turned 18 in high school. I think all the years of therapy helped a ton but never fully got rid of it. Fast forward to me at 27 yrs old and I’m in between a rock and a hard place. Financially irresponsible, going through a divorce, custody battle, court fines, having to pay ALL of our bills, my truck broke down, and now I’m super fucking depressed. I needed money and a lot of it! Later that night I see my cousin flexing on Instagram in the club with stacks of money like a douche bag and I’m thinking, “I need exactly that much money to pull me out of this hole I’m in and he’s about to thrower it on some skinny ass stripper.” I remembered he was in sales but had to travel all the time. This was my opportunity. I messaged him, we talked about it, said he owed my dead grandmother a favor since she was so good to him growing up and decided to give me a shot. I consistently made between $5k-$15k a month during my time with him. I was making $16hr at a factory before this. Now, I was traveling to big cities, dressed up like I was going to court, living rent free in a high rise over looking Dallas, partied with people that thought they were hot shit, and all expenses paid for by my cousin. I worked with him for 3 years and transitioned into other careers. I Stacked money, paid stuff off, got custody of my daughter, and most importantly, a down payment for our new home. One day I woke up and said fuck my stutter. Go along with it. I need money! You can make 6 figures a year just by talking and being a like able person, all while building relationships and friends with your customers. I stutter during meetings and presentations but I go along with it and feel like I never even skipped a beat when I’m done. I have confidence. Same thing when I’m cold calling. Sometimes I don’t stutter at all. I hid in a factory for years because I was scared to talk. I knew I had a great personality and now I use it to make money.
