Yes she is fully in charge of if she goes to speech therapy. She loves her speech therapist and looks forward to it. But I check in every 6 months to make sure she still wants to go. Also, at this point they don’t do much of working on her tools etc, I think they just talk about life. Also, she is a part of the stuttering community. That has been huge for her. Every summer she goes to the Friends Convention, we travel to wherever it is. She met her best friend there and I think it really changed her life. Unfortunately I waited until she was 10 to do that, but it was a huge for her to really see with her own eyes other kids all around her who stutter. Thanks for your comment 🙏
