Hey, maybe stupid question from someone not from an English speaking country : what's an ENT? Other than the big tree creatures from Tolkien's works. Also as to the topic: although I do not stutter myself, I do know some people who do (or have other noticable speech problems), and some others with quite bad social anxiety, and generally what I have observed is that people tend to be overly anxious over something they are afraid of, and end up shooting themselves in the leg, metaphorically. You are 16. I can speak from experience (am 17 myself) that people around this age tend to be much more intelligent than they were, say, 3 years ago. Kids in your new school might be interested in your stutter, it is not common, after all, but generally should have no malicious intent. If they laugh, they generally do so out of awkwardness, not knowing what to do in that situation, or as an uncontrollable response to something unknown. My advice would be to state it asap that you have a stutter, and that you cant control it, that should lessen the amount of weird comments you get. If you still get some, that will be because they most likely havent yet come across this, and do not know what they can or should say. If you were to need some further advice on what to do and what not to do in this situation, feel free to dm me.
