Speech therapy should give you tools to get through stutters and help you develop a healthy attitude towards it. If you tried speech therapy and you didn’t feel like any of their advice was useful, I encourage you to find a specialist and try again. The ASHA website can help you find someone near you if you are in the US. There is no cure for stuttering. There are genetic components, brain function components, and the way you feel can have a lot to do with it. I also recommend the links in the sidebar.
