It's good you took that job, but maybe you should quit and write books because damn! I wish I could upvote this more than once. Beautifully written. I kind of want to print it out and put it on my wall to read every morning. I hate knowing that a good day will eventually be followed by a bad day. But nothing feels worse than not trying. "The false sense of security of being silent" is such a good way of putting it. Even when it takes a little longer, we deserve to be heard.
