Yeah I feel that, someone stuttering for a year when they were 5 doesn't equate to them understanding what it's like on a day to day basis for many of us. I know they are just trying to relate which is part of the human experience but it's like saying to someone who suffers from depression that I was really sad once so I get it, not the same..
