People dont your words seriously

People dont your words seriously I work in a corporate company where I have to constantly communicate with cross functional teams. I stutter frequently but I let them know what I think. Sometimes I am unable to clearly explain things. I have noticed people dont take my words seriously. It takes some effort to convince the opposite side. Anyone else who faces this ? What did you do to be better ?
