can’t let anecdotal experiences shape your world view fam, reality of the situation is you were just around assholes and your environment might be kinda inconsiderate with people like us which makes it seem like everybody are assholes, but trust me the people you truly have a connection with usually have emotional intelligence and can have meaningful conversations to want to understand you because that’s what you do when you’re around someone you like, and vice versa, maybe try looking for more of those traits in people and it’s not a common trait so don’t be hard yourself out when it gets hard just keep pushing through
