Do you mind if I ask which job you have ? It'd be a nice line of work to say as little as possible, unless it's small talk or something. Unfortunately it can't be recorded. We also aren't allowed any smart devices, pens, books or anything fun in the switch room, it's mostly for data protection but also so we don't "get distracted". I appreciate that! I do need to find something else but I'm also not looking forward to the remainder of my time in my current job.
