When people say cute they usually mean "Aaww he's nervous to talk to me so he's stumbling over his words" It's kind of annoying honestly. Imagine someone telling a dude with Tourette's syndrome that it's cute. They'd probably be offended, it's the same for most stutterers (at least the mosre severe ones).
