May I ask you about your speech therapy? One thing I've learned here is there are many different approaches. How long were you in speech therapy? How frequently did you attend? How much time did you put into speech therapy everyday? When I was working on my fluency, it was therapy once or twice a week. Each session was an hour. Then I would practice for about 20 - 30 minutes twice a day. After about six months (maybe a bit more) of learning fluency, I was allowed to start using my fluency with other people.
