I find it weirdly correlating with myself that when I got lesser instances to speak, my stutter aggravated. Right when the pandemic hit, I graduated from college and got into full time job which was mostly work from home (IT). And since a lot of my friends shifted to other places and walks of life, I found lesser people to talk with freely. Due to the reduced social interaction, I saw that my stutter aggravated a lot. Like these days, in a very normal office call with colleagues, I would gasp for breath after going on for 5/6 words. Sometimes I do believe that talking more freely with someone can help mitigate the extent of the stutter. I did see it myself, when I was in high school. Much of my improvement took place at that time, when I was a bit more confident with myself and expressive.
