You said this was the 2nd or so time your Mom has said something like this.. and the first time was very emotional. Your mom loves you and she loves you regardless of your stutter by she realizes it can make things hard. Parents fear their children experiencing pain.. and they want to do whatever they can to minimize that much of the time. Your mom doesn’t have a problem with your stutter or anything... but like any loving parent, she doesn’t want you to experience any hardship or pain and wishes she could change it for you. That’s all I Think. Edit: I think telling her or expressing how much her support means to you would go far to alleviating any guilt she might feel or if she feels she isn’t doing enough.
