Do you have a link to the research you saw — not trying to call you out, I’m just curious because I’ve heard variations of this theory over the years but haven’t seen much evidence. My stutter comes from childhood trauma and I am absolutely reactive to voice tone and inflection. My hypothesis is that my sensitivity comes from trauma. I’d love to have an MRI done on my brain one day because I am so curious.
