I think the scene was handled well. The man with the stutter isn't really the joke. It's more the situation that is funny. Having said that, I absolutely cannot watch someone stutter in any kind of movie. Even if it's realistic. Especially if it's realistic. I stay anxious and clenched the entire time like I'm the one stuttering.
