Challenges in work and self-doubt

Challenges in work and self-doubt I work in the field of wildlife research, and part of my work involves engaging with local communities during surveys. While I do understand a bit of the local languages, I don’t speak it often, and when I try, I start to stutter. It becomes really frustrating, i know what I want to say, but the words just don’t come out right. Lately, this has been affecting my confidence. I find myself avoiding conversations, and afterward, I feel embarrassed and drained. I genuinely love this field and the work I do, but moments like these make me question whether I’m cut out for it.
