My number 1 piece of advice would be to try and ignore it and not think about it as best as you can. If you start avoiding speaking situations it’s going to be a downward spiral. You will start to develop more fear and anxiety about speaking which will in turn make your stutter a lot more severe. In my experience the worst part about having a stutter is the negative thoughts and feelings you develop around it, not the actual stuttering itself.
