Yeah, I did makaton as a kid and have done a bit of bsl in the past but not under any pressure. I did seem to "stammer" in the makaton to a degree but it was different. Supplementing my speech with makaton was one thing, but I will be interested to try having an actual conversation with someone in bsl because I've never taken it that far.
