Yeah reading aloud has been one of those HIGH stress activities for me forever. I'm a teacher now so I have to do it quite often and I find that really focusing on reading slowing, working on blending and easy onset helps a lot. In the past if I'm going through a disfluent period with my stutter, I will make my boyfriend listen to me read aloud for 10 mins for a couple days in a row, I think it helps slow me down, focus on the management strategies and bring my confidence back up.
