Thank you for putting in the time and writing this wonderful and inspiring post!! Similar to your target audience, I am 20 and in college! I am guilty of some of the things you mentioned, such as feeling like the only thing holding me back is my stuttering and trying to become fluent because that “better version of my self” needs to be 100% fluent. Dominating our thoughts to the point were we feel confortable with our stutter is VERY hard, specially if we are the type of person that wants to better ourselves constantly and exposing myself to situations were I need to speak is even harder cause I don’t want so be seen in my “vulnerable” state. But as you mentioned, it is necessary to make this step if we want to move forward with our lives. I’m going to try to find a good psychologist and a speech therapist to work on those things, it’s definitely necessary! Again, thank you for this post, it was both informative and very inspiring! There’s hope, maybe not to become to 100% fluent (unfortunately), but to not let our stutter intervene with what we want in life.....
