Stuttering is cute??

Stuttering is cute?? Many people (especially girls) tell me that my stutter is really cute and think it's my personality trait. I personally hate when people tell me that it's cute, when it's the thing I hate the most about myself. I've been wondering why it's attractive for people and I came up with a (probably wrong) reason: they think I can't speak, and because a child also can't speak, they get that "protect that child" feeling.
