The more time, attention and nerves you devote to your stuttering, the worse it gets, it's a paradox. Try to be less reflective about it. Yes, it's awful, but you have to live with it. This should become your daily routine: 'here, I replaced a word with one I can pronounce; okay, now I'm going to have to look like an idiot in the eyes of others again for a while; geez, I didn't get my point across again, it sucks', something like that. So, you need to change your attitude towards stuttering and therefore all other areas of your life that it affects., the only way to do this is endless practice speaking, you will fail time and time again but eventually stabilize your mental health and learn to live with it.
