Any tips? Hey everyone! So I am in community college and a requirement for me to get my degree is to take a speech communication class. To summarize, we will basically learn how to craft and then present speeches infront of the class. We cannot read from a script at all but can write down a few points from our speech on a flash card. Whenever I go up to give a speech or presentation, I’m usually very confident but then throughout I start to trip over my words and end up doing terribly. Does anyone have any tips on how to effectively rehearse for a speech?
