I've a stutter and I work as a Salesforce Consultant. My job requires me to be on meetings 50% of my working time. I think you being comfortable is more important. Anxiety plays a big role, and for people like us who stutter, the first thought always is 'I am going to stutter' - and that's one thing that keeps holding us back. We're hardwired so badly that everytime we open our mouths, we think the same thing. I've been trying to externalize the thought of stutter by calling it Mr Worry and practicing easeful onset. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. But hopefully, I'll be able to resolve it soon.
