I've been to intensive courses. You do great while you're there and then when you go back into the real world everything that used to work slowly stops working. And then they tell you it's not their program, it's your fault you didn't work hard enough. It's bullshit. McGuire has helped many people, but it also hasn't worked for many more because in the end it's still an intensive program centered around fluency and that doesn't work. The nonfluency parts of their program are the best part of it imo.
